At about 11:45PM last night I had typed up a little mini-prologue which consisted of 293 words. I had also been falling asleep at my desk for the last 15 minutes or so. I decided to call it and went upstairs to bed...so yeah nowhere near the 5,000 but that's alright. The important thing is I started.
And as the wise men say, today is a new day.
